California CORE is first-come, first-served — vouchers are paid until the fund runs dry. Approved buyers move first.
KNEGT is now approved for California's CORE Voucher Program For California growers, ranchers & municipal fleets

You Run a California Operation. California Just Made Going Electric Up to $70,000 Cheaper.

KNEGT—the red tractor that runs green—has been certified for the state's Clean Off-Road Equipment (CORE) voucher. That means a qualifying California buyer can take the subsidy right off the price at the point of sale. No trade-in. No scrappage. No waiting on a rebate check.

What just changed

You've watched the diesel bill climb every season. The clean machine always cost too much to pencil out. That math just flipped.

You didn't hold off on electric because you doubted it. You held off because the sticker was a stretch and the payback felt too far out. Meanwhile every fill-up got more expensive, the 6 a.m. noise complaints kept coming, and the maintenance bay kept eating your Saturdays.

California's CORE program exists to close exactly that gap. It's a multi-million-dollar fund, administered by the California Air Resources Board and backed by California Climate Investments, built to take the premium out of zero-emission equipment. KNEGT is now on the approved list. For the first time, the quiet, low-maintenance, no-diesel tractor can land at a price that beats the machine you were about to replace it with.

How the voucher works

Plain English. Four steps.

1

You tell us the work

Call or send the form. We confirm which KNEGT fits your acreage or fleet, and whether your operation checks the CORE eligibility boxes. Straight answer, no pressure.

2

Your dealer files the voucher

You buy through a CORE-approved California dealer. The dealer submits the voucher request to the program on your behalf — the paperwork is their job, not yours.

3

The discount comes off the price

CORE is point-of-sale. The voucher is applied to your purchase directly, so you pay the reduced amount. You never front the subsidy and wait to be paid back.

4

You put it to work

Delivered, set up, and running — on California ground, on your schedule. Then the diesel line on your P&L starts shrinking every single month.

The machine the voucher buys

Same tractor. Same work. Better power source.

A KNEGT looks and works like the diesel tractor you know — it just runs on electrons. No fuel runs. No engine to rebuild. Quiet enough to start before the neighbors are awake and to work the zones where noise rules shut diesels out. Fewer moving parts means fewer Saturdays in the maintenance bay.

The KNEGT Eligibility-First Promise

We check whether the voucher is real for you before you spend a dollar.

Here's our commitment: we will tell you the truth about your CORE eligibility up front — even when the honest answer is "not this funding round." We won't move you toward a purchase to chase a voucher you can't actually claim. You'll know your real, model-specific number, and you'll know the strings attached, before anything is signed. If CORE isn't the right fit for your operation, we'll say so plainly and show you what is. No pressure. No obligation. Just a real conversation.

Why you can trust this

This isn't a coupon. It's a state program with real money behind it.

CARB

CORE is administered by the California Air Resources Board and funded through California Climate Investments — not a dealer promotion.

Millions

The fund runs into the tens of millions of dollars, purpose-built to take the premium out of zero-emission off-road equipment.

Approved

KNEGT has been certified for the program — putting our electric tractors alongside the clean-equipment makers California already backs.

Straight answers

The questions every operator asks first.

Is the voucher really taken off the price, or do I get paid back later?
CORE is a point-of-sale program. The voucher is applied to your purchase directly, so you pay the reduced amount up front. You don't front the full price and wait months for a rebate.
Do I have to trade in or scrap my old diesel tractor?
No. CORE has no scrappage requirement. You keep whatever you've got and simply add a clean machine to the operation.
How much will I actually get?
It depends on the KNEGT model and your eligibility, up to roughly $70,000 as listed through the CORE program. Operations in priority communities may qualify for an added boost. We'll confirm your exact, current, model-specific number against the official program manual before you commit.
I'm based outside California. Can I still use this?
CORE is a California program. The buyer needs to be a California business or public agency and the equipment needs to operate within California. If that's not you, tell us anyway — a KNEGT still pays off on diesel and maintenance, and there may be other incentives worth a look.
Where do I have to buy it?
Through a CORE-approved California dealer. That's how the voucher gets filed and honored. Reach out and we'll connect you with the approved dealer for your area.
How fast do I need to move?
CORE is first-come, first-served, and vouchers are paid until the funding for the round is exhausted. Approved buyers are processed in order. The sooner your eligibility is confirmed and your build is reserved, the better your position.
A note from the team

We build a tractor that does the work and quits burning your money. California just made that an easy yes.

We named it the red tractor that runs green because we didn't want you to give anything up. Same seat, same implements, same hard day — without the fuel line, the noise, and the maintenance drag. For years the only thing standing between a lot of good operators and that machine was the price. California's CORE program is the state stepping in to close that gap, and being approved for it means we can finally hand you a number that makes sense the first time you see it. If you run in California, this is the moment to have the conversation. We'll shoot you straight on whether it's right for you.
